The poster session aims at showcasing "work-in-progress". This is an opportunity to present and discuss current work in an informal setting during the MobileHCI 2008. Topics of interest are the same as research topics in the MobileHCI Call for Participation.
Posters will be reviewed by members of the MobileHCI Poster Session Committee. Authors of long or short papers may not submit a poster of the work in these papers.
Upon acceptance you should prepare the best material (visually appealing and succinct) that effectively communicates your research problem, techniques, results, and what is novel and important about your work. The posters are recommended to be in A0 format (84cm x 119cm / 33'' x 47''), in portrait orientation. Participants are expected to bring the accepted posters to the conference site with them. Posters will be presented during the conference as of Wednesday 3 September 2008.
Your abstract should be submitted by Monday 3 March 2008, (5:00 PM CET) (passed) to the Conference Review System. The file must be no larger than 4 megabytes.
Confidentiality of submissions is maintained during the review process. All rejected submissions will be kept confidential in perpetuity. All submitted materials for accepted submissions will be kept confidential until the start of the conference.
Accepted Poster abstracts will be distributed in the supplementary conference proceedings on CD-ROM. They will also be placed in the ACM Digital Library, where they will remain accessible to thousands of researchers and practitioners worldwide. Submission of the final camera-ready version includes and is not complete without giving us permission to distribute your final camera-ready version as described above. This permission is given during submitting the final version of your work via the Conference Review System.
