Getting to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

The airlines of SKYTEAM, Official Alliance Network for MobileHCI 2008, offer attractive airfares for conference attendees to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS), located about 15 kilometers (10 miles) from the centre of Amsterdam. SKYTEAM comprises 10 international airlines: Aeroflot, Aeromexico, Air France, Alitalia, Continental, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta, KLM, Korean Air, Northwest Airlines, serving 728 cities in 149 countries with over 15 000 flights daily.

To benefit from these special offers, browse to globalmeetings.skyteam.com and quote the Identifier Code 0638S, or click on the logo below:

Through this site you can also access the schedules of all SkyTeam partners (on the left hand site) and book your flights on the airline of your choice (on the right hand side).

Getting to the Conference Venue and Hotel from Schiphol Airport

To plan your trip in detail and compare all options, visit this Schiphol routeplanner (fill out zipcode 1092AD if your destination is the conference venue).

We recommend using public transport from Amsterdam Schiphol. The Schiphol Railway Station is located in the central Arrival/Departure building of the airport. For more information see Getting around.

By Train

Book your train to Amsterdam Central Station. For the remainder of your trip, see Getting around.

By Car

If you plan to arrive by car, we advise you not to take it into the city centre. Instead, park your car at one of the cheap Park & Ride parking lots located at the A10 high way: You park your car for a low fee of € 6 per 24 hours, with unlimited 24 hours public transport ticket included in the price, and you continue your visit using good metro, tram or bus connections to the centre of Amsterdam. If you travel with a companion, a second public transport ticket will be issued and its price is also included in the initial fee. With an additional payment you may purchase 48 and 72 hours tickets.

For more information see Getting around.
