If you wish to attend MobileHCI 2008, you should register and pay first. We will provide early and late on-line registration at discounted prices, as well as on-site registration.

Where can I register?

On-line registration is now closed. If you want to visit the conference, you should come to the conference venue and register on-site. The opening hours of the registration desk are:

• Mon 1 September 2008: 16:00-17:30
• Tue 2 September 2008: 8:00-17:30
• Wed 3 September 2008: 8:00-17:30
• Thu 4 September 2008: 8:00-17:30
• Fri 5 September 2008: 8:00-12:30

What are the registration deadlines?

• Monday 2 June 2008 (23:59pm CEST): Early on-line registration deadline at substantially discounted prices (passed).
• Extended!! Monday 18 August 2008 (23:59pm CEST): Late on-line registration deadline at discounted prices; after this deadine, only on-site registration at normal prices is possible.
• Monday 1 September 2008: Start of on-site registration

What are the MobileHCI 2008 conference fees?

Fees are listed in euros and include 19% V.A.T. (Value Added Tax).

* Students are undergraduate, Master's, or Ph.D. students during the 2007-2008 academic year. A valid, dated student identification card or a letter from your university or school must be scanned and uploaded during on-line registration and presented when registering on-site at the conference.

** Group discounts are available: When 5 or more people register during late registration, a discount of 5% off is applied to all registrants on the conference fee.

The MobileHCI 2008 conference registration fee includes:

• access to MobileHCI 2008 conference sessions, lunches and exhibits on 3-5 September 2008
• access to the MobileHCI 2008 Conference Dinner
• MobileHCI 2008 Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM

Expenses for travel and accommodation are not included in the conference fee and have to be arranged and paid for by the conference attendee.

Certain additional items, such as hard copy proceedings and access to tutorials can be ordered via the on-line registration system at an additional fee.

Terms and Conditions

MobileHCI 2008 is organized by Telematica Instituut, whose registered office is at Brouwerijstraat 1, 7523 XC, Enschede, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce nr. 41032471; V.A.T. nr. 806292982.B.01). By registering for MobileHCI 2008, you agree to the General Terms of Telematica Instituut, as well as the terms and conditions specific for MobileHCI 2008, listed on this page.

Payment

Payment by credit card is due immediately upon registration. We only support payment by VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.

Cancellation and Substitution

• A refund will only be made, minus € 75 administrative costs, for cancellations made in writing to and received by the conference secretary on or before Monday 30 June 2008. Refunds will only be made after the conference.
• Any other refunds will be made at the sole discretion of the organizer.
• From Tuesday 1 July 2008 until Monday 25 August 2008, delegate substitutions are still possible (online, via the MobileHCI 2008 registration system). After Monday 25 August 2008, delegate substitutions are no longer possible.
